Wonderful mistake?

This blog was started by mistake; I was trying to start a blog for my quilt guild but found we already had one. But I was intrigued so I will try this and see what happens.

I am a crafter-I like to quilt, sew, make jewelry and other stuff. I don’t finish nearly enough projects, but I don’t seem to have any problems with collecting things for these past-times and truthfully I have outgrown the room in my home. My goal this year is to severely limit new purchases and steadily work on decreasing what I already have by either using it or giving it away. Sounds easy…. I’m off to a good start, sort of. This week I pulled out several sets of blocks of the month that I have won over the years, went and bought coordinating fabric for more blocks and sashing and actually got started on a quilt. I’d be a little farther today if I hadn’t been on this computer all night. So, with that, let me get off and iron my pieced rows and I’m hoping to have a fully-pieced quilt by the end of next week if not before. Wish me luck-there are a few UFOs around here…!
